Space Art; More Wonders Yet!
Computer generated space art is becoming increasingly popular, what with the devices and programs for creating them, evolving very rapidly. This is a highly technical art form, which can use many different programs for creation, and they all have to be mastered. The goal is to create almost photo-realistic (or at least as detailed) images about space, planets and stars. I found a rather unique picture here at the left created by Douglas Triggs and more of his work can be viewed at
www.douglastriggs.com.
He appears to be a very talented individual
and bears checking out his site.
Computer-generated art is art created with a computer. The term is
usually applied to works created entirely with a computer. It is a
subset of digital art, and space art created this way is becoming
increasingly popular.
Movies make heavy use of computer-generated graphics; it is called
computer-generated imagery (CGI) in the film industry. In the 1990s,
and early 2000s CGI advanced enough so that for the first time it was
possible to create realistic 3D-computer animation. This has now
become quite common amongst the Hollywood crowd and much of the
same technology can be used in the creation of some very visually
appealing space art.
But what you say? You don't work for a Hollywood company and you
are still interested in creating your own Space Art on your own
computer. How do you and I do this? Well, it still takes some talent
and creativity. And yes, software that doesn't generally come with
your computer. Looks likes a lot can be done with PhotoShop, which is
a very popular software package. Apparently it can be kind of spendy
also, but can be obtained at Adobe.com or your local software
distributor downtown.
I have found a few sites that you might want to check out that have
some free tutorials on PhotoShop using Space Art as the examples.
You can see them at the following list of sites:
Now if these sites don't provide you with the instruction that you need,
I have found an excellent site that provides video tutorials on several
fantastic software applications. They do cost a couple of pennies
though (I guess it depends on what you consider a couple of pennies). These
guys are really quite reasonable though. You can decide for yourself about these
amazing tutorials.
And if they happen to be what you are looking for in the creation of you own space art, just remember how you found them (ha ha). I really hope they help you out.
And for the "Space Art" Collector
Again, if you enjoy hanging a fine looking piece of art on your wall, which tantalizes your imagination, I have researched several sites on the Net that deliver just this. Of course these are fine copies of the original painting and photographs, but you have the options of just the prints or a wide selection of framing elements if you prefer something a bit classier.
I have found one site, which supplies a superior collection of
space art
that I highly recommend. They have a multitude of selections and I do believe any one of them would enhance your art wall as well as your imagination. If this is something you are interested in or have been searching for awhile to find, I suggest you take a minute and click on over and browse. Be sure to come back here though. You don't want to miss my
first page

Bookmark this site and come back often. And feel free to sign up for
my free ezine, "Intrepid Journey" in the form below. This will be a
month to month continuation of what is happening in the world of
space travel & rockets. Cruise my site and enjoy. Can't find something
